Wellbeing+ is a health and wellness app designed to help users track and maintain six essential wellness habits: nutrition, hydration, supplements, exercise, mindfulness, and steps. Built as a companion to Amway’s Begin 30 gut health program, the app encourages users to adopt healthier lifestyles and seamlessly integrate wellness products into their daily routines.

my role
As the Lead UX Designer, I was responsible for:

Amway Global, a leader in health and wellness products, introduced the Begin 30 program to help customers improve gut health using a targeted 30-day supplement routine. However, research showed that many customers:'

Traditional food tracking apps require users to manually enter each food item individually, selecting portion sizes and nutritional details for every ingredient. This process is tedious, time consuming, and often discourages consistency in tracking. Our goal with Wellbeing+ was to simplify and revolutionize the meal logging experience by creating the first-ever simple AI-powered food tracker that allows users to log their entire meal in just one step.

One-Step Manual Input: Instead of adding items one by one, users can type their entire meal into a single input field, and AI instantly analyzes the complete meal for gut health scoring and nutrition insights.

Photo Recognition: Users can take a picture of their plate, and the AI identifies and categorizes the food, generating a nutritional breakdown and gut health assessment.

Barcode Scanning: For packaged foods, users can scan a barcode, allowing the app to automatically pull product details and provide instant dietary feedback.

We conducted a six-week pilot test with 30 Independent Business Owners (IBOs) to evaluate:
